10 Things I want to do with 2014

In Lifestyle on December 30, 2013 at 8:12 pm

2013 was hardly my favorite year of my life, actually it was probably the worst behind 2011. And that year had many, many ups to it before the big down as well. This past year was difficult for many reasons: starting then changing and changing again medicines to treat my anxiety, gaining weight, losing motivation for previous interests. I could go on, but to spare myself the discomfort, I’ll stop there.

2014 holds many promises. I’m definitely one for new beginnings.

Without further adieu, here are the ten things I’d like to do with this fresh new year:

1. Set a single goal each month.
2. Work out 3 days a week (minimum).
3. Make more time for pleasure reading.
4. Write down daily/weekly/monthly goals instead of to-do lists.
5. Spend time educating myself on literature and great authors.
6. Meet more people.
7. Wake up at 6 AM regularly.
8. Allow myself to enjoy social time.
9. Plan time for social events.
10. Go on multiple exciting trips. Ones out of the country, too.

New Bundle of Joy

No, I didn’t have a baby! I’m talking about my new camera! It’s my new baby, and I’m obsessed! Get ready for some exciting pictures… the one above was of a birthday card I have in my bedroom that I love. I was just playing around with the camera but once I learn how to use it it’ll probably be picture overload on here!

I love that message on the card, but I’ll leave it at that. I feel it is something I preach way too often.
